Onboarding is your guided pathway to becoming fully productive at NorthSight Recovery. The system tracks your progress across six key areas: Tasks, Credentials, Benefits, Tax & Payroll, Skills, and Job Description acknowledgment. Your progress is consolidated into a single dashboard showing overall completion percentage and timeline milestones.Key Capabilities

1. Your Tasks (Onboarding Checklist)
What it is: A structured checklist of activities you need to complete during your first 90 days. Status indicators:- ✅ Completed – Task finished
- ⏳ In Progress – Task started
- ⚠️ Overdue – Task past due date
- ◯ Pending – Not yet started
- ⊘ Skipped – Not applicable to your role

- Start with tasks marked “Required” and “Day 1” tasks first
- Check deadlines to avoid overdue items
- Ask your manager for clarification on any unclear tasks
2. Professional Credentials
What it is: Upload and track your professional licenses and certifications required for your role. Status indicators:- 📋 Submitted – Uploaded and waiting for verification
- ✅ Verified – Approved by HR
- ⚠️ Expiring Soon – Expires within 30 days
- ❌ Expired – Past expiration date

- Clear, legible copies (front and back if needed)
- PDF, JPG, or PNG formats
- File size under 10MB
- All required credentials must be submitted before patient contact
Credential Verification
HR will review your uploads and mark them as verified. You’ll receive a notification when verification is complete. If there’s an issue, HR will contact you for clarification. Note: Credentials that expire soon will generate reminders. Set your own calendar reminders for renewal dates.3. Benefits Enrollment
What it is: Review and select from available health, retirement, and wellness benefits. Status indicators:- 📅 Enrollment Open – Available to enroll
- ⏳ Pending Election – You started but didn’t complete
- ✅ Enrolled – Successfully enrolled in plan
- ⚠️ Deadline Approaching – Enrollment closes soon
- ❌ Enrollment Closed – Deadline passed (can’t enroll outside open periods)

Making Your Elections

- Once confirmed, you can’t change until next open enrollment

4. Tax & Payroll Setup
What it is: Complete federal tax forms (W-4) and set up direct deposit for paychecks. Status indicators:- ⚪ Not Started – Form not yet completed
- ⏳ In Progress – Partially completed
- ✅ Completed – Form submitted and processed
- ⚠️ Pending – Awaiting HR review

The W-4 determines how much income tax is withheld from your paycheck.1
- Personal information (name, SSN, address)
- Filing status (single, married, etc.)
- Job information
- Deductions and credits
- Other income
- Answer honestly to ensure correct withholding
- Use the IRS withholding estimator if unsure
- You can update your W-4 anytime circumstances change
- New employees should prioritize this before first paycheck
Setting Up Direct Deposit
Direct deposit gets you paid faster and is more secure than checks.1

5. Skills Assessment
What it is: Self-assess your competency across key job skills; your manager will verify these during onboarding. Status indicators:- ⏳ Pending – Awaiting your self-assessment
- ✅ Self-Assessed – Submitted, awaiting manager verification
- ✔️ Verified – Manager has confirmed your skill level
- 📊 Full Assessment – All required skills assessed and verified

Tracking Your Progress
Overall Progress Score
Your overall progress is calculated as a weighted average:
Example: If you’ve completed 80% of checklist tasks (24/30), 100% of credentials (5/5), but haven’t done benefits yet, your overall progress would be approximately 45%.
What “At Risk” Means
You’re marked “At Risk” if you’re more than 5 days into your hire and have less than 50% completion. This triggers:- Manager notification
- HR follow-up
- Additional support offered
